Features The accurate simulation of mouth, nostrils, teeth, tongue, pharynx, larynx, epiglottis, vocal cords, trachea, esophagus and lungs, make it the most realistic Intubation Trainer on the market. Realistic lifting and tilting of head gives you the right feel. Realistic movement of the head, cervical spine and jaw simulate relevant anatomical changes during intubation. The left side of the head is open, permitting supervision of the student's performance. The walls of the pharynx and trachea are transparent, enabling the student to follow the tube down the throat. Training is possible with orotracheal tubes, LMA, Combitube, nasotracheal tubes, nasopharyngeal tubes and guedel airways, allowing you to use whatever equipment you are familiar with. Acoustic signals triggered by excess pressure on the teeth help the student to correct mistakes. If desired, signal sensitivity can be adjusted. Ambu® I.V. Trainer is meant for training insertion of cannulas and catheters, infusion of fluids, injection of medication, blood-sampling and pulse measurement.

Features:
Replaceable skin and veins are made of natural latex, which features hole closure after penetration, extending the lifetime of the arm. The movable wrist and rotating arm ensure absolutely realistic training, especially when a catheter is placed on the back of the hand.
The fluid reservoir is built into the training arm, avoiding a separate reservoir taking up space. The valve system reduces the formation of air pockets in blood vessels. Multi-purpose carry case serves both as a washable underlay and as a protective carrying case. It also incorporates a bracket for easy mounting of infusion stand. The indicator panel represents each blood vessel, giving immediate feedback if e.g. an infusion is correct.

Modular expandability means you can invest gradually, updating the system as you go. The manikin has the tried and tested mechanical monitoring instrument that gives you instant feed back on ventilation volume, stomach inflation, chest compression depth and wrong hand position.
Chest rigidity is adjustable so that different body builds can be simulated. Flexible defib electrodes so that you can train with all leading brands of defibrillators. Intubation with ordinary oral tube, Laryngeal mask and Combitube, defibrillation, ECG lead diversion and IV training can be trained on the manikin making the training scenario realistic. PC connection possible on Model C so Ambu CPR Software Kit can be connected.

Ambu ECG Box simulates as many as 26 rhythms and 2 artefacts giving you a wide variety of ECG options. The ECG Box has two optional power sources: an internal battery pack, or an external 9V adapter giving you the flexibility to train on location and the security of knowing that the system will always work even if the batteries are low or missing.
